Whangarei Print Ltd was formed in 1982 when four employees of The Northern Advocate bought the commercial print plant then known as Advocate Print.
For those first 10 years we were located across from The Advocate in Water Street with a large printshop in behind the Shell service station. The site was designated for re-development so Whangarei Print relocated to its current site practically in Whangarei's famous Town Basin.
In the 25 years since forming the company practically everything has changed in terms of the technology employed. We thought the fax was a wonderful innovation and then came computers, the desktop PC and now digital printing presses. Exciting times.
